2009 University of Akron Top Prospect Camp - Sept 13

The University of Akron Top Prospect Camp is intended for experienced softball players who are interested in continuing their athletic careers at the collegiate level. Campers will not only receive first-rate instruction from our players and staff at The University of Akron, but they will also have the opportunity to display their skills through drills and games!

Cost is $80 and they are looking for 2011, 2012, and 2013 graduates. See the link below for an application form.

8:30 - 8:45 a.m. --- Registration

9:00 - 11:15 a.m. --- Drills/Instruction

11:15 - 11:45 a.m. --- Lunch (provided - pizza & drink)

12:00 p.m. --- Report to Lee Jackson Field, Buchtel Field, or Shrank Field

12:15 - 4:40 p.m. --- Games

*Athletes need to come prepared with their OWN EQUIPMENT such as gloves, bats, cleats, tennis shoes, catching gear, and helmets!!

*Drills and instruction will be conducted at Lee Jackson Field and/or Shrank Field. Games will be played at Lee Jackson Field, Shrank Field, and Buchtel Field.

*Tennis shoes must be worn on Shrank Field

Each of these hotels are within driving distance of campus, clean, and convienient! If you are interested in booking a room with any of these hotels listed below please be sure to mention that you are attending an athletic camp at Akron. Hopefully U of A will move to online scheduling like KSU does which makes it so much easier.

This is a great camp for advanced players. have been to a few of their camps, can't wait to attend this one.
