2010 Premier Ohio FP is looking to add 1 utility player. Preferably an outfielder or SS. Catching experience is a plus but ok if there isn't any. A left handed stick would be nice also but not mandatory. ( we have 5 but we'd love to have another! ) ( We are not in need of a pitcher. )
Fall Tournaments. 10/1 Brimfield. 3rd place. 10/8 Brimfield. Tournament Champ! 10/15 North Ridgeville Pumpkin Smash . 3-2 with big wins of over the Michigan Bulldogs, Starzz & the Stars out of NY. We lost to the Stingrays & SGS Magic.
Winter workouts will begin 11/3 at Premier. We will do your tryouts before then.
WWO days are Thursdays & Saturdays ( Its ok if your daughter plays other sports and has to miss practice. )
Spring / Summer Schedule: 9 to 11 tournaments with only 2 over night stays. ( A 3rd will happen only IF our girls WIN a USA bid. They win it, they get it. )
We have a lot to offer the right 2010 birthday! ( all of our girls are 2010 birthdays and we are going to stay like this so our girls can continue to grow and play together for the years to come. )
We use Premier Athletics as our training facility. Ryan Bores has done a great job with boys baseball and now has branched into Fastpitch Softball. Ryan has held true to his word for what he is willing to do for our girls! We Have:
1) A film room where we can break down actual game film and correct mistakes. Also able to video practices and weight lifting to make sure correct form is being used on & off the field.
2) 4 cages all turf with 4 more going in upstairs this winter. 1 has a machine.
3) A state of the art weight room for our players and families to take advantage of!
4) An indoor full size turf infield for all of the winter practices.
5) Just installed, 55,000 square feet of turf outside so we are able to host another team for practices and bunt scrimmages.
* As a member of our team each player is able to use the facility AT NO CHARGE any time they wish! All you have to do is go on line to book a slot! *
Your Coaching Staff is made up of a High School Varsity HC who is also a NON parent HC of these Premier ladies. Our assistant is a former Akron U Outfielder and again, is a non parent coach. Our 2nd assistant is a parent but does a great job with the girls.
This is a 2nd year 12u team but only our first year together. We started 8/6 as some people who just love the game of Fastpitch softball and in 2.5 months won our first tournament together. They also scored 43 runs in 5 games at the pumpkin smash with only giving up 14. This is a great group of girls and they really work hard for the coaches.
