A 2010 ASA U16 Eastern National Qualifier to York, PA will be held in Findlay, OH September 11-13, 2009. Registration is open now for the tournament being held at the new Marathon Diamonds in Findlay, OH.

The 2009 ASA State U16 tournament was held there this summer and reviews were great. Facilities are the best in ALL of northwest ohio and maybe the state. The facility is the new home to the University of Findlay softball program. The 2010 U16 ASA State tourney will also be held here next June.

Matharon Diamonds is a great facility to play a tournament at - Jim and Roger do a top notch job. This is an excellent early opportunity for those 16U teams that will be playing in the 2010 ASA State Tournament to get a feel for the facility before you go there next summer.

Now that most tryouts are over registrations are still being accepted for the Sept. 11-13 Eastern National Qualifier at Findlay's new Marathon Diamonds.

Would you please post teams registered and update it on a regular basis...there is no listing of registered teams on website and lots of people on OCF like to see if there is a team(s) in it that would warrant a trip to watch them play. Thanks so much!

Currently U16 Hancock Heat, U16 Buckeye Heat (Toledo) and Wizards Elite from Toledo have said theya re coming. I expect registrations to be coming in this weekend and next week as tryouts are wrapping up soon.

REgistration is still open folks for this tournaments. Currently we have Buckeye Heat, Wizards Elite and Hancock Heat in for the tournament. Expect more this week as teams are wrapping up tryouts.

Was also considerieng moving tournament to Saturday and Sunday to not interfere with Friday night football. If this makes it so your team can now participate please let me know.

I am thinking of scheduling games for only Saturday and Sunday so to not interfere with Friday night football. If this helps your team so they can get into the tournament let me know.

Also the uniform rule will be waived for this tournament as I know some of you have new girls for your team and uniforms are not in yet. Bottom line let's let the girls play softball.
