The 2011 college softball season is upon us and seeing that a large number of young Ladies from Ohio attend & play for these fine institutions, it is time to get the "Hot Stove Talk" going and make some predictions. I will go with Miami, Akron and Ball State to lead the pack; while Buffalo, Toledo and Bowling Green bring up the rear.
Jess Simpson (Miami) should lead the pitchers and Lisa Rozanski (Ball State) & Allissa Birkhiemer (Akron) will be my pick's to lead the hitters. I'll go with Kayla Ledbetter (Miami) as my Freshmen of the year.
I reach out to my fellow OFC'ers for additional predictions and insight as we close in on opening day! :)

Although I'm a Golden Flash through and through I have to agree with you Mantle07, Akron and Miami are going to be tough this year.

Agreed...I will also add the OU Bobcats to the mix as well, and I'm also partial to a certain #25 of the Kent St Golden Flashes. :)
