Thanks again to the TD and all who worked so hard to make this tournament happen. Our team enjoyed the tournament and the competition. The tournament site was excellent, with nice fields, restrooms, concessions and plenty of spectator area. Umpires were top notch too, probably the best we have experienced so far this season. Would highly recommend this tournament to anyone interested for next year.

Valley Storm wins 16U division. :yahoo:

Championship games were hard - fought. With double-elim format, we saw the Valley Storm twice. First game ended 9 - 4 in favor of the Thunder. "IF" game went down to the wire, tied at 5 in the bottom of the 7th, one out and squeeze play to score winning run. Our girls played their hearts out. We arrived at 8:30 am and left the park at 8:55 pm, after playing 5 games that day. Very proud of our team and their intensity and stamina on the day. :yahoo:
