Sponsored by SONSA & Louisville Slugger.

May 4-5, 2013 - *corrected date*
Lou Berliner Sports Complex - Cols, OH
10U,12U & 14U age brackets

Event is a NSA Class "A/B" 2013 World Series qualifier for 10U,12U & 14U age groups. There will be a 5 game-guarantee, weather permitting. We will limit this to 10 teams in 10U & 12U and 6 teams in 14U. The preferred format will be 5 pool games with top team in each pool playing off against each other for the championship.

Wins will count as 2 points, ties as 1 point. Second tiebreaker will be runs against, and then runs scored, and then coin flip if needed.

Entry fee is $350 + $25 2012-13 NSA sanction fee. There will be Class A & B World-Series berths for the top 2 teams. Class B berths will be awarded according to team classification. The berths can pass down if team is already qualified for the World-Series.

The tournament will be held at the Lou Berliner Sports Complex in Cols, OH at 1255 Dellenbach Rd - Zip Code 43223.

You have Diamonds Orange 01 as a 10U but they should be a 12U.

Mike,
Sent the registration/entry for Diamonds 01 Black 12U. I see you have our 10U Diamonds listed. At this time, I am not aware of any of our 10U teams playing.

Thanks,
Coach Mike

Mike is this being played on the turf fields? I'm liking this event if so. Early May weather is dicey but you can get games in on turf that otherwise can't be played.

Updated entries

Tony, I am checking with CRPD to see. Usually they do not let us know where we are this early, but I am pretty sure us and a slow-pitch event are the only ones using the complex that weekend which bodes well for us.

*************************GREAT NEWS****************************

*****We are on the turf fields*****CRPD said we can use turf for this event****

We played in a downpour last fall on the turf and didnt miss a beat or have any safety concerns. This means barring a blizzard in May, this is an ALL-WEATHER event!

Good news we are playing on the turf. Hopefully this will entice some more teams to participate. We are looking forward to it!

Mike, are you getting any other teams expressing interest in this one?

I have not got any new teams interested and 3 teams dropped. Unfortunately this one is done.

It is ashamed too since CRPD was guaranteeing me use of the turf fields to get this one in.

Mike
