2013 USSSA Fastpitch Bat Certification

Have read for 2013 bats will have to have the "new" USSSA mark to be legal for play in USSSA.

Could anyone provide more info on this? I realize checking equipment is hit or miss depending on the sanctioning body, the tournament, and the umpires, but I'd hate to enter a USSSA tourney and not have any legal bats in our bags.

Thank you, I missed the number 2 note extending the new mark requirement until Sept. 1 2013.
