USA Softball is sponsoring the All-American Games for 12U athletes in OKC at the Hall of Fame Stadium. It is one of the most prestigious events in the country for 12U. OH/WV Region 2 sent a team in 2017 and 2018 with a runner up finish last summer. The athletes and families who went had a tremendous softball experience.

There are 4 first round clinics and tryouts scheduled. The first of those is January 6th at the University of Akron. The clinics are instructional for 10U and 12U kids and if someone wants to be considered for the team to go to OKC, they may choose to tryout. Athletes may participate in as many clinics and tryouts as they want. The top pool of athletes will then be asked to come back for a second round tryout where 15 athletes will be selected for the team.

Comments from parents of daughter's who competed on the Region 2 OH/WV Team that participated in the USA Softball All-American Games. It truly is a great experience for the entire family. It is an honor to represent Ohio and WV with USA on your chest against some of the best 12U athletes in the country!

DO THIS !!! Said it before... AMAZING softball experience for both athlete and parents. Even if it interferes with another tournament. I’m gonna steal a motto....
YOU OWE YOU !!!

Such an amazing experience!

By far the best softball experience for us as parents and for Brooklyn to date!! Would do again in a heartbeat.
Thanks Karen Linder and your coaching staff for such a great time.

Our family had a wonderful, once in a lifetime experience! Thank you and coach Sheilah for sharing your knowledge and for giving them a heck of a preview of how it is done at the highest level of softball!

Cam had an amazing experience working with you and coach Gulas. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your wisdom and knowledge with her. You made a huge impact upon her.

Thanks Coach! You were such a positive influence and had a huge impact on all of the girls. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and experience with our girls. Once in a lifetime is an understatement. They are better players and people because of the time they spent with you Coach Gulas and Nikki.

What a great time!
Super talented young ladies. Parents are great too!

This experience is unbelievable. Do your young athlete a favor and give her an opportunity to compete to be on this team. She will never forget it.

Has USA Softball ever thought of doing this event in early August instead of right in the middle of the travel season? Last year Michigan could even generate any interest and cancelled their tryout. They had their USA State Championships on the same weekend.
