3rd Annual Lady Warrior All-Star Tournament - July 29th - 31st of 2016

This will be an All-Star tournament for rec softball teams, and some smaller "community" based travel teams. The tournament will be a 4gg (3 pool play with single elimination bracket play). We will be accepting 8 teams in each division. The tournament will take place at Watkins Memorial High School in Pataskala, Oh. There will be a full service concession stand, free parking, and the opportunity to bring your own grills and canopies for the weekend. Awards will be given to the 1st and 2nd place team in each division, and the tournament is intended to be an enjoyable time for all of the communities that get involved. This will be the 3rd year for the tournament and it has filled up each year. It will be a great atmosphere to bring your team. The tournament will be run with modified ASA rules such as (no dropped 3rd strike, no infield fly, 5 runs per inning, etc) to allow for all teams to have a chance to compete.

We would like to bring an 8U and 10U team this year. Our name is the Upper Thunder, do we need to be ASA certified?

No need to register ASA. Just need some proof of insurance. Most teams just use their rec-insurance. PM me your email, and I will get a registration formed mailed out.

Sorry we can not play in this tournament July 29-31 nor the tournament July 22-24. We will be in Indiana for the Great Lakes Regional Championship July 20-24 and the World Series at Berliner July 29-31.

This is a great little tournament! I got to umpire for a couple of the 10U games on Watkins Varsity field last night. All teams and managers were friendly, fields are nice, quickly maintained and lined after each game, communication was great, and no gate fee/parking fee and ample parking.

Thanks to all who attended our tournament this past weekend. The rain only hit in the middle of the night and fields were well prepared for the first games. Many competitive games in the various age groups. Please keep an eye out for this tournament next year as we might split into a division for rec all star teams only and one for the community/travel type teams.

I also agree with previous post from one of our umpires. The teams did a nice job staying under control with the heat and humidity. The girls participating were all leaving it out on the field.
