The Bristol vs Maplewood game resumed play yesterday. The pitcher from Bristol did play. Bristol won the game in the bottom of the 7th inning.

It was actually way more exciting than that. The game resumed with Maplewood having bases loaded with 1 out. After a sac fly and another out, Maplewood lead 3-2 going to bottom 7th. Bristol girls gets on , base hit to shallow rf and an overthrow allowed bristol runner to score to tie game at 3.
When bristol runner came home, there was some uncertainty from maplewood pitcher if she touched the plate. As the pitcher questioned the Ump, the Bristol girl who just had hit to RF ran to 3b.(pitcher never called time out). Ump said girl at home safe and runner to 3b cause ball was still live.
Next girl hit deep fly to CF to win game.
Doesnt get any easier for Bristol as they face Vienna Mathews tonight!
