The Firefighters always run a great tournament, BUT,the decision to cancel early Saturday morning was a mistake.

Agree 100%. Not much they could do about Saturday, but many other tournaments played on Sunday. The plug was pulled on the ENTIRE weekend way too early. We got 1 game for our entry fee.

I know they are getting bashed on this site alot, but I was at the fields last night and there was still standing water at 6:30 PM. While it may have been nice on Sunday, the area took a beating in rain all week and I am sure the decision to cancel had more to do with parents spending money on hotels for games that might not be played. I know we were facing that all weekend and that was bothering us as parents at the tournament that we were at.
