For High School players entering 8th-12th grade
Pinnacle Sports College Skills Camp is designed to provide softball players with the opportunity to be instructed by and compete in front of a number of college coaches and their staff. This camp is a MUST for the athlete that may wish to continue their softball career at the collegiate level. Players will have an opportunity to work on their primary and secondary position while building and showcasing their skills. This camp is specifically designed to give the athlete the experience of working with and in front of a large number of college coaches. This camp allows coaches and each athlete the opportunity to work on skills, talk to and be seen by some of the finest college coaches.
Check in starts at 8:30am
Camp runs 8:45am-2:30pm
Coaches will work with each player
Games will begin at approximately 2:45pm
College recruiting Q & A after lunch break
Players may turn in their player profiles to the coaches
Approximate Coach to Player ratio 1:3
GAME INFORMATION
Those attending the camp will have an opportunity to showcase their abilities in a live game(s) (additional charge $50) Games will be played between 2:45pm-5:00pm. This is a great opportunity for the coaches in attendance o see players in action. Space is limited for these games. Players will take part in at least one game on our outdoor or indoor synthetic turf field. If inclement weather, the games will be moved indoor(indoor games will only be 60 minutes). First game will start at 2:45 and the second game will start at 4pm and last approximately 60 minutes each. Please indicate on the registration form if a player would like to request to play with another player.
Camp will be held rain or shine! All players should bring a lunch, labeled with the player's name. All players should bring their own equipment. NO METAL CLEATS!
After lunch, there will be a Q & A with the coaches on recruiting. Have your questions ready! Certified Athletic Trainer will be in attendance. Full payment is due with registration. No refunds.
Colleges and Universities that have participated in previous camps and are expected to participate again in 2014:
Baldwin-Wallace College, Bowling Green State University, Case Western University, Cleveland State, Cuyahoga Community College, Hiram College, Kent State, Marshall University, Notre Dame College, Radford University, Tiffin University, University of Akron, University of Findlay, Urbana University & Youngstown State
Camp Registration Fee: $150 per person (non refundable)
Game Registration Fee: $ 50 per person (non refundable)
Register before June 1st, 2014 to receive a camp t-shirt
