Wondering what is the difference? How are you put in one or the other? What is the deciding factor?

Re:  (A) and (B) classifications???

Viper,

This has been discussed numerous times. It seems that each team/organization has their own view on who should be A or B. Most of the top teams in Ohio (Lasers, Stingrays, Ice) and those caliber of teams should always play A. We are a local team (20 mile radius) and are a B team for sure but wanted to play in the A World Series in Columbus because we are 30 minutes from the complex as opposed to going to IL for the B's. Your team designation A or B may change from season to season depending on player addition or the skill of your players. I am sure that it will all be debated until each sanctioning body puts it in writing. Assess your team and play at a level that challenges them but has some room for success.
