The OHSAA is having its annual OHSAA Umpire Mechanics Clinic at Walsh Jesuit High School (in Northeast Ohio) on February 9, 2019. As part of this clinic, players will be used for situational demonstrations, live strike/ball calling stations, and other drills for the umpires to take part in.
My Walsh Jesuit girls will be taking part in this clinic, but due to an injury and basketball game that day, we will only have one pitcher available for the clinic. We are looking for 3-4 pitchers to come to Walsh Jesuit and take part in the clinic from 10:30 - 2:30 (Pitchers will not be pitching that entire time).
The OHSAA has agreed to grant waivers to all participants to take part in the event. Your high school catcher can come as well if you would like to get some reps in with her while a live umpire calls balls and strikes. There may also be some live scrimmaging.
