A note about the Coaches' Polls - Please Read.

The last coach?s poll will be next week (7/22/08) before everybody heads off to their Nationals. The coaches that have voted, I feel, have really put a lot of thought into their selections. Many times, their votes included comments, research, and insight as to why they voted the way they did. Everybody knows these polls were just for fun, but they did raise the awareness of what other teams were doing across the state and raise the excitement level for marquee match-ups. So, thanks to everyone who voted, commented, complained, debated, bickered and supported the polls. These weren?t my polls, they were everybody?s. I just tabulated the votes.

For the last week, due to many requests, we?ll have the ?official? coaches? poll along with an OFC Members Poll. Any OFC member can vote in the member?s poll. Just PM me your top ten teams (1 thru ?10) and we?ll see how close you match up with the coaches. I have just one stipulation: I won?t accept any votes from screen names with less than 25 posts. I don?t want Statman or ManitouDan making up a bunch screen names just to vote for the Classics or WildThangs

people, in all seriousness, let's make ringer work his butt off on this fan poll....I've mentioned the liklihood of one, but did not want to be inundated with the sheer amount of votes ringer (or someone else) would get....it's your chance, fans, to have your input, so put it to good use and vote away...

Maybe if we have a coaches poll next year we can have a top #16 or Top # 10 Team in the Coaches pools face off over a week-end..

I too thank you. I have benefitted in wanting to go see and play against these teams to see how we stack up or where we would like to get too. My DD now asks me if we are playing against anyone on the list this coming weekend....so its motivated her too.

This can only help raise the competitiveness in Ohio!!!!
