We are playing in the tournament this weekend. The schedule was sent to all head coaches that are in the tournament.

Currently we play at 9:00, 10:30 and 1:30 on Saturday. Sunday we play at 10:30 and 1:30.

All our times could change due to the weather this weekend.

I read on the form that we were to have Univ of Akron players at our games to help and make suggestions. We saw no players and no staff. I take that back, when we left, someone, don't know who, thanked us for coming. Did anyone else see any players, staff? :-/

I thought it was a great event. It was a great way to evaluate your team. Plenty of College coaches in the stands at Firestone Stadium.

I know we had some Zips in our dugout giving tips to the girls on Saturday which was nice. Some of ours were just to timid to go and strike up a conversation, but the tips the ladies gave were appreciated.

it was a cold saturday moring though, but the ladies had fun. The new Zips field is georgeous!

my daughter plays on laser purple and we had a great weekend. treated very well, players were very helpful when we asked them anything.... scouts in the stands...fields were real nice as well. bathrooms could have been a bit closer on the firestone field....but hey, it IS softball!! thank you to the zips and a great tournament.
