As a Senior (2013): Started 50 games... 4 home runs, led the team base on balls with 24... batted .245 with 4 homeruns... recorded 351 putouts at first base... pitching in 9 games 5-4 record... Striking out 27 batters in 39 innings pitched
As a Junior (2012): First team All-MAC selection ... Seventh Akron student-athlete to earn second team All-Mideast Region ... Started all 54 games ... Led the team in with 17 multi-hit games, 10 home runs, 47 RBI and 100 total bases ... Her 47 RBI ranked fourth in the MAC overall and are the school's third-most in a single season ... Hit a team-high .370 ... Launched two home runs and totaled five RBI in the first win of the season over Southeastern La. (Feb. 11) ... Picked up a pair of doubles against Rider (March 4) and another pair against Holy Cross (March 10) ... Recorded an impressive .789 slugging percentage at home ... Posted 456 putouts at first base ... Her 10 homers is tied for seventh on Akron?s all-time season list ? As a pitcher, made two starts and 19 appearances in the circle ? At Lakewood High School: Led her team to back-to-back state championships (2008 and 2009) ? holds the school record for most strikeouts in a single game (17) ? a three-time second team All-Ohio honoree ? named Mid-State League Player of the Year as a freshman and a senior. Pitcher of the Year as a sophomore ... a three year Newark Advocate Pitcher of the Year ... as a senior was named First Team All-Ohio, First Team All-Central District and First Team All-Mid-State ... was named First Team All-Columbus Dispatch and Columbus Dispatch Female Athlete of the Year ... on the mound amassed 220 strikeouts in 155 innings pitched ... held a .19 ERA ... also dominant at the plate with a .423 batting average and .856 slugging percentage.

Lindsay Barrett
A graduate of Lakewood High School too. She was a 3 sport athlete and was the catcher for the first Lakewood State Championship team. She was named the MSL Softball Player of the Year that same year. Honorable Mention All-State selection in Division III as a senior after being named Second Team All-State in Division II in 2007...four-time All-Mid State League and All-Central District honoree...hit .409 with five home runs, 47 RBI and 15 doubles in 2008 as she led the Lancers to a 32-2 record and the Division III state title...smacked a three-run home run in the championship game...named the Newark Advocate Female Athlete of the Year as a senior.
After high school she played college softball at Wright State University where she was a 4 year starter for the program both offensively and defensively. While at Wright State she was awarded the Raider Award in 2009, won a Horizon League Championship in 2010, and was on the All Tournament team in 2013. In addition to leadership on the field Lindsay was a NFSCA Academic All American her Junior and Senior years.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Alissa and Lindsay will be offering 90 minutes of quality instruction to groups of 16 girls. The idea being to get quality instruction to a smaller set of girls at a time making it 8 girls to each instructor for drills and coaching.
