I have a player with a new one. She seems to hate it but the ball jumps off it. She has always been a Demarini girl but Dad bought her this. She wants the Demarini, but I think it's just her preference. Like I said, the ball jumps off this bat. My girls have never swung them as the oldest wasn't strong enough to handle the end load and the younger just prefers a balanced bat.

I know a number of girls who use them, one on our team.

They have a heavy end load so the girl needs to be strong to properly use it and now throw off her bat path or slow down her bat speed.

if the girl can handle it it's a great power hitter bat, the way the knob is loaded it swings like a -9 but they actually run heavier creating a lot of power.

The older ones are better than the newer ones, the 2004 model sets the ball on fire it's so hot.

My daughter uses one but only in the cold weather. I've got to be honest with you though, the RT and the CF 7 are going to be two very different bats. The Demarini known for being extremely light and the RT being heavy. My daughter used to use Demarinis (CF6 and CF7) but as she got stronger she moved to a heavier bat.
So it really depends on your daughter and what she can handle. They are both good but I wouldn't say at all interchangeable.

something i hadn't considered, that much of a weight differential. she has strengthened up quite a bit, she really likes her cf5 insane end loaded bat.
had a vendetta she used for a while, seems to be overswinging it now, she really doesn't like it much anymore. looking ahead towards fall/winter ball for the rocketech, hopefully gets even stronger,
pretty hard working kid, so i'm sure she will. found out a friend of hers has one she can swing and see what she thinks of it.
really appreciate all of the insight on here, great help from you all.

A while back someone had a few older RTs on the Buy/Sell section here. You may want to check and see if they still have them. I would agree that if you can pick up an older one that is still in good condition it would be good. We have a 2004 and a 2005 and both have served her well.

I have a practically new 2004 34/25 RT...I'm patiently waiting on when one of my Green girls is strong enough to use it :)

I have an Emeralds pitcher big enough to swing it. But she has her eye on a CF8. Which might be more cost effective?
