Last year I thought of having DD's painted. I asked around and someone said ASA may ban any face mask painted from tournament play. They claim it distracts the batter! I asked an UMP and he said...A painted gameface may be banned soon. He wouldn't ,but some umps have already told pitchers they couldnt wear them. Who knows, right now its their (umps) discetion but I choose not to do it. Also I will tell you my DD hated her gameface-cause it wasnt cool- but now I see more and more of them on girls and now its like putting on her glove and she doesnt think twice. She pitches and plays 3rd so its not even optional anymore.
