ASA Confused

I must admit that I am lost. Can someone tell me where the ASA 18U States are this year. Heard they were originally in Ashland, then Massillon. I see that Massillon is a National and Regional Qualifier. Are they also hosting the ASA States or did ASA abolish the ASA States?

True...... but it's getting better. Most of the time it's the T.D.'s not getting the info into Warren Jones.

I don't know about the rest of the State but if a coach in District 1 (8 counties in NW Ohio) wants to know something, they call or e-mail me. I have also received calls from other coaches throughout the State who have attended our tournaments and are comfortable calling me and asking. So, I am suggesting that coaches find out who your District Commissioner is and the best way to contact him. This info is on the Ohio ASA website.

My gripe is that Ohio ASA website does not have links to entry forms. I guess for some more local tournaments, I can accept this fact. But, I have a bit of trouble for the state tourneys. For the 18U state tourney, it took a call to the TD who indicated they would email me the form once I emailed them a request for the form. Seems a bit convoluted this day and age. Seems more straightforward to post the link to the state tourney entry forms on the Ohio ASA website.

Ohio ASA needs to take a look at the Illinois ASA site. They track all registered teams in Illiniois and the Chicago Metor areas points for tournaments, display results of tournaments, have all IL ASA tournaments listed and necessary information for the tournaments. You can even view all teams registered by age groups and A/B classes. http://www.illinoisasa.org/

I recommend checking it out. . .
