Heard the championship game in the platinum bracket was a good one

Cincy Magic '96 went into the bottom of the last inning down 3-1 to Louisville Stunners, who we lost to in first pool play game. Rematch was a very tight game. In the last, we got a couple of huge hits, a 2-run triple and a walkoff single for the 4-3 win.

Both my daughters, one playing and one watching, were talking about the game just before, with your Static team. Another tight game. Think the quote from one was that your girls are "going to really beat up people" in the coming year...

Stunners were tough. We beat them after coming back throughout the game, a very challenging one at that. They beat us this past summer. In the two games we have seen them, both had scores of 5-3 with the results just flip flopping. Great people too.

Your guys' 96' Magic team just mashed the ball. Period! The pitcher has us off balance with her unique release, very effective! Nice job to Mike and all of his team! Very solid team without a doubt! And your bats lived up to the expectation once again! Best of luck this year. At the end of the day we were happy to be in the Platinum bracket with the older teams. Getting out locally isn't common for us much any more and it was nice to be in our own beds on a weekend of good ball.

Got to see some old friends too on the Cincy Ice team. Another good game.
