ASA National Qualifier
Pinnacle Sports Fast Pitch "Holiday Classic"
Pinnacle Sports is pleased to announce the first annual "Fastpitch Holiday Classic". Friday, December 26 thru Sunday, December 28, 2008. A qualifier for the ASA Girls' "A" 12-Under Fast Pitch Eastern National Championship and ASA Girls' "A" 14-Under Fast Pitch Eastern National Championship held in Sterling, Virginia in July 2009.
Qualifier Date: December 26-28, 2008
Qualifier Site: Pinnacle Sports, 313 Medina Road, Medina, Ohio 44256, located 3
miles west of Interstate 77 and approximately 5 miles east of Interstate 71 on State Route 18. Pinnacle Sports is one of Ohio finest multi sport indoor facilities.
The softball facility is state of the art 46,000 square foot facility that includes
a full indoor field (150 down each base path) with the latest rubber-filled turf surface,
10 batting cages and state of the art lighting.
Registration/Entry Fee:
1) $350.00 per team.
2) Registration and payment must be received by December 12, 2008
3) Check (made payable to Pinnacle Sports) and Credit Cards accepted.

Divisions: ASA Girls' "A" Fastpitch 12-U and ASA Girls' "A" Fastpitch 14-U
Rules: To be in strict accordance with ASA Girls Fastpitch rules.
Tournament Format:
1) Pool and bracket play determined by number of teams in each division.
2) Teams will be seeded based on their won/loss record in pool play.
3) Tie Breakers will be based on Head to Head.
4) Run differential.
5) Total number of runs given up.
6) Number of runs scored.
Games: Three Game Guarantee, at least two pool games and at least one single
elimination game.
1) Pool games one hour and fifteen minutes.
2) No new inning will be started after the one hour fifteen minute start.
3) Semi final and final games will be played to their entirety, (no time limit).
4) One umpire for pool games, two umpires for all bracket play.
5) Game balls provided.
6) A coin toss shall determine the "Home Team" for each game.
All Teams must be ASA sanctioned: For sanctioning information contact your
ASA commissioner or Warren Jones at warrenjones@zoominternet.net
ASA National Championship Eastern Births:
There will be 1 birth for every four teams entered per age division.
Check In: All teams must check in at the registration table at least 90 minutes prior
to their first game. The Following information must be presented:
1) Birth Certificates.
2) Proof of team insurance with policy number.
3) ASA sanction number.
4) Waiver/roster completed and signed by parent or legal guardian.
Uniforms: To be in strict accordance with ASA rule book. NO METAL CLEATS, We find
tennis shoes or turf shoes are best for this indoor surface.
Awards: 1st and 2nd place team and individual awards per age group.
