I know I've seen this question before but I can't find it and I don't remember the answer. Can a player that is rostered on one ASA team sub for another team in an ASA tournament if her first team has the weekend off and then finish the season with her original team?

I think you can have any player on more then one roster unless its a NQ event. If it a NQ and you get Q, your roster is lock in.

Any way if I'm wrong someone will at lease give you correct answer..

I've seen it done in pool play, but once you enter into bracket play - NO. The only way I see it happening is if there are a series of releases. Team A release, Team B rosters then releases, Team A re-rosters. Big PITA.

Players on a team aiming to play in an ASA national should not guest on another team in an ASA qualifier.

According to ASA Code, players are locked onto the championship roster when the team plays in it's first qualifier, regardless of whether they earn a berth or not. There is a release procedure, but the window of time is limited and should only be used if a player wants to change teams.
