I would like to find out... no contact info makes it hard to determine anything beyond what is posted on the OHIO ASA page. I guess Warren may know?

not always. the two years of my oldest daughter's playing time at 14u, both years were Shreve 14u national qualifiers. Of course that was a long time ago. 2003 and 2004 i think.

The Penn-Ohio Classic is a USA/ASA Qualifier
Ohio will host the 14U in 2013, but dates have not been confirmed.
Penn will host the 10U and 12U in 2013, I do not have any idea what their plans are.

Canton (Willig Field) will be hosting the ASA 16U and 18U "B" Eastern National Championship, July 24 - 28, 2013.
Canton hosted this one in 2011 and they are looking forward to another great Championship!
Due to the Eastern National, Canton will not be hosting the Sweet Sixteen in 2013.

It doesn't look like PA is planning on hosting the 10u/12u Penn Ohio Classic from what I have seen on the ASA/WPA website. Their spring/summer schedule is out and the Penn/Ohio classic is not listed.

Jeff ... I exchanged messages with some people from PA ASA this past week, and they are still planning to host it. My understanding is that the person who did this in the past has moved on, but they expect to make an announcement sometime in the next week or so on when and where.

I did receive word today that the 14u Ohio/Penn Classic will be held in Canton, Ohio during Memorial Day weekend May 25th & 26th. Info should be posted soon.

Very tough for many teams to attend with HS ball in motion still. If we have enough players this sounds like a good event to attend.

Contact Steve Fee. He is with Silver Creek Starz. If you go to their website, you can get his contact info. He is heavily involved with PA ASA, so if he doesn't have the answer, I'm sure he will know who does.

Gundog ... I actually exchanged messages earlier today with a couple of folks on this. PA recently named a new District 10 Commissioner who is responsible for coordinating this, and it looks like per the e-mail chain which Warren Jones was copied on, Warren and the new Commissioner are going to be talking soon to get this organized. I am just hoping they decide to keep it on that same Memorial Day weekend as that is where we've left the opening in our schedule for it.

Was just copied on an e-mail that the 10-U and 12-U Ohio-Penn games will be in Kennedy Township, PA on May 25-26, which looks to be a little west, northwest of Pittsburgh ... they are still working on details ...

Well, they finally posted the info and entry forms for 10-U/12-U Penn/Ohio Classic at ASA of PA Western Area, but I'm not sure if it's a qualifier for the Ohio teams entered or not?? I just sent a note to Warren Jones to try to find out if it is or not ...

Warren reached back to me and we actually spoke, and he verified that the top finishing team from Ohio will get an ASA/USA berth.
