The Ashland University is having their annual "AU Diamond Club" Softball Camp on September 23rd from 12:00-4:00 at Brookside West / Field 1 in Ashland, Ohio. ?This is a great, all-around, softball clinic and is specifically designed for girls grades 2 - 8. ?The entire AU Eagles softball team helps conduct the clinic. ?There will be professional instruction for pitching, infield & outfield. ?

AU has great camps. My dd goes all winter and has been to the summer camp. The college girls give you great one on one instructions. For the younger girls they give lessons on sliding so you won't get hurt, that most camps do not offer., My dd will miss Jill and the rest of the Seniors that left last year..

The camps are great! ?My daughter has been attending them for the past couple years. ?She loves working with the college softball players and she always takes away a lot from each one she attends. ?They have several throughout the year and you can be placed on a mailing list to be notified of the camps by calling the number on the original post.

Thes AU clinics are always educational. My daughter has attended many of them over the past 3 years.

I had 2 dds attend this summer & they both had a great time & learned a lot. Too bad one is too old for this fall camp now that she's a freshman.

ASHLAND UNIVERSITY FALL CAMP AND DIAMOND CLUB

CAMP DATE: ?Sunday, September 23

Who: The Ashland University Diamond Club And Camp is open to girls in grades 2 through 8.

Why: The Ashland University Softball Diamond Club provides one fall camp to help you be the best fastpitch player you can be. You will learn and participate with the entire Eagles softball team and coaches. ?The camp will cover many aspects of the game. You will be working with fun equipment and learning from the best athletes around.

MEMBERSHIP COST = $ 60.00 ?(2 from same family $115, 3 from same family $150)

***SPECIAL TEAM RATE ? 4 from the same team $200
(Registration forms must be sent together)

NOTE: Special Pitching and position play session from 3-3:45pm. ?Pitchers must provide their own catcher during that time, and skills and drills will be taught.

Thank you all for the positive comments: sometimes those are hard to come by! Most people would rather share negatives!

Also any suggestions are welcome on things you would like to see at our camps and our coaches clinics. We are open to ideas.

I have a suggestion, how about a clinic that solely concentrates on batting. ?You may have a clinic such as this, and if so, please post the dates. ?There are so many young ball players that need thorough and specific training in hitting. ?I bring my dd to many of your clinics and would love to see her participate in a clinic focused on batting. ?Seems like more and more young girls are looking for "batting lessons". ?Just a thought.
