Before the season starts is a great time to teach, develop, and foster the winning mindset of champions. Winning a championship starts with a thought leading to a vision that a coach or leader (Lebron) infuses into the team. The goal or mission directs the thoughts, images, actions, and commitment level of the team. Great coaches and leaders can get everyone within the program to buy in and commit to the mission. Its like a GPS. Set your direction and then plan your route knowing that their will be some bumps and detours along the way. However if everyone on the team doesn't know where you are headed, why you are going there, how you are going to get there, or don't believe you can get there or don't want to go there, you will never arrive at your destination. Nobody ever wins a championship with a divided or selfish team. Disharmony is very difficult to overcome. Harmony and confidence is the key.

Aspire Higher is about helping your team identify your direction, goals, and mission and giving you mental strategies to help your team elevate it's performance. We will teach your athletes some proven strategies that will help them become more confident, consistent, and disciplined in the way they think and play. Playing your best as an individual and team is about:

1. Having a vision of who and what you want to be and do, and finding a way to expand that vision.
2. Developing a plan of action to reach your vision and then being committed and disciplined in working the plan.
3. Believing and trusting you can accomplish your vision.
4. Affirming, thinking, talking, acting as if your vision can be a reality.

"If you think you can or you think you can't, you are right." Henry Ford

As a coach you can have one vision, but your athletes have another. It is important for both you, your athletes, and your parents to all have the same vision and plan on how you are going to achieve your mission. Let Aspire Higher help you create your vision with an interactive communicative team session.

The road to this year's national championship began after last season's loss to Alabama. It was a mindset, a belief, a trust and love in one another that lead to the National Championship on Monday that all started a year ago or maybe even before that.
