Anyone know how the dial relates to the speed of the pitch. Bought one a year ago for the basement and the factory couldn't tell me short of using a radar gun. Dial is 1-10.

I have the baseball version. From about 40'to 45' it seems like at 10 on the dial it is 60mph. I would guess the softball version would be 55mph from 40' per the literature. The baseball really slows at 5 on the dial to about 35mph at 45'. These are ballpark numbers. I really don't care about the speed, but it is good to have some idea. I like to change the speeds. I got some of the specs from the Western Athletic catalog, they may have more online.ww :-Xw.wasupply.com
