Looking to see if anybody on here have gone to either the Aunt Rosie`s tournament in Buffalo or the Lady Luck tournament in Niagara Falls NY. Known about them the past years and have the basic tournament info I need, but looking for insight from those whom been there that have seen the good or bad. Interested in scheduling one of them next year.
Thanks in advance.

I know Outlaws Silver coached by Adam Accord went to Aunt Rosie's in 12u last year and did very well. There were a couple strong 12u teams from NY in it. Silver represented Ohio well.

Aunt Rosie's is a good family tournament to go to. Lots of free time to visit Niagara Falls. Just remember to have your passport if you want to go to the Canadian side.:)

Played last 2 years 14U. Well run tournament with great competition and "the Falls" are a very short drive.

Great Tourny!

Thanks everyone. Everything seems to check out good for this tournament. Right now it is high up on my list for next summer.

Barry-make sure you don't put your name or nickname on the tournament application. Fearing the storm clouds and rain, the TD might "accidentally" keep losing your application.;)

Hi Barry, I am one of the Tournament Directors for Aunt Rosie's. I have been involved with it for 3 years. Thank you for your interest in our Tournament. Please feel free to call me at 716-628-8600 or email me at lkrmyers@yahoo.com and I will answer any questions you might have. I can tell you that the Lady Luck Tournament in Niagara Falls is a well run Tournament. It is kind of in a strange area but that's another story. Lady Luck Tournament does a nice Fall Tournament. There is a big difference in the quality of teams between Aunt Rosie's and Lady Luck!
Aunt Rosie's has a very long History and has been going on since 1988. At one time it was one of the Premier Tournaments in the Northeast. With all things, it has had it's ups and downs over the years, it takes a lot of work to make something special year after year! I can tell you its on the way back and getting very popular again! Our 16U with 32 Teams sold out in 30 days back in November and our 18U with 26 Teams sold out 90 days last year. We have a Facebook page and I highly recommend you look at it and our website. Lots of information on the Facebook page you will see what other Coaches and Parents say about Aunt Rosie's. I will put our Complex and Grounds Crew up against anybody's. Its been proven year after year we do not throw in the towel with bad weather!

Thank You all for the good recommendations!

Dave is a very good TD for those wondering. Top notch. He does everything he possibly can to keep things flowing, keep the crews ready and to promote to all avenues he can. On a side note, he also runs another tourney at the Northtowns Center that is for charity, kinda like a "play date" per se, in the spring to raise money for Variety club at Childrens Hospital of Buffalo.

Our organization has played Rosie's for years. Our team played there this year as a first year 14. We had a lot of fun and the competition there is top notch. All of the big local teams for NY play there. It was cool to see some teams from OFC that I follow show up this year. We had a chance to play the national team from Quebec. They spoke everything in french except the cheers. That was interesting! A few of our girls were studying french in high school so they translated one of our cheers to french, again, very interesting.

Bumping this back up because we really would love to see more Teams from Ohio! We know you have many choices for Tournaments and we take that very seriously!

If you play in our Tournament you will not see a harder working bunch of people working to make your Team have a great experience at our Tournament and with your free time in Niagara Falls!

Do your research on out of State Tournaments and I bet you'll put this Tournament on your bucket list! I look forward to hearing from you! Over 85 Teams have signed up already for 2015.
