CARDS - I agree Expressway is a nice facility, but the parking is a nightmare and I *hate* paying admission fees AND being told "no coolers". Please TDs choose one or the other, I know you need to make money and I don't begrudge you on that topic --- just be fair!

Finding the park and parking is a challenge, The cooler gate fee and alcohol thing is not going away (too much money involved (privite or public park).
At Expressway and Pastime I had a strong relationship with Bob and Marty so I did bring in a team cooler, wth gatoraid, water, towles frog togs if they had a new kid at the gate I would give them a grunt sign in and keep walking.
Patty however; at Rumpkee and Rivershore would enforce the no cooler policy and at Rivershore no pop ups or grills in the parking lot. Teams would go down the road to the city park to have team grill outs etc.

For the Queen City Showdown back in June - the sad part was they had the temp fencing sitting on the sides.........And never put it up!!!!
They had all the time on the world to do it, while they waited for fields to dry too.........

Not a fan of Pick North. Love Pick Central. Pick North has softball grenades dropping all over the place and if it rains a little, your done. Beekman, Orrville, and Expressway also top my list. Also enjoyed the experience at Firestone.

outside of Ohio... Salem, VA and Sioux Falls. Hard to top them on any given day. Haven't been to Disney and I hear they are great too. The fields where they hold the St Louis Showcase is top shelf but behind the aforementioned in this post.

Findlay, Field of dreams for the great fields. Orrville gets my vote for great atmosphere and well kept fields in between games even when there is a rain delay.

Expressway Park as already mentioned. First one I have been to that has a bar though.

Memorial Park in Mt Vernon. 6 diamonds think 4 have lights, nice concessions, clean bathrooms (with running water), scoreboards. big playgrounds area and picknic area, bike trail and fishing at the park also.

I remember; when Kelly?s sports bar was there back in the 90s it rocked, Live bands Friday nights and they had a full menu, Fall bon fires etc.
It is still a great place for men?s slow pitch and boys baseball.

Field 4 dugouts are cramped but they do have a shelter behind the dugout for fans at that field and no place has an upper deck like that with the field/river views.
Throw in the kids netted play area and the adult fenced off Corn Hole Area?If someone could get them to splurge on some temp fencing they make the top 5 list.

I agree. M.A.B. is a nice park with plenty of shade. The last tournament my DD played there, they did have temp fencing.

Jmho...I'm not sure how anyone can rate rumpke in the mix. The smell alone puts this one at the bottom of my list. Not to mention the gate fees and cooler nazis.
