Wow. One Saturday game during the entire regular season and again they've decided to not air a significant portion of the conference tournament. This looks like a major drop in the amount of games from last year.

Hard to put into words the disservice the conference's own network is doing to the softball programs. But, I guess that means more replays of the 1983 Rose Bowl! WooHoo.

This is why, thanks to ESPN, that the SEC Network is 100 times better and will be until changes are made!

$$ talks...Softball is not a $ sport, certainly not in the B10.

SEC, people do pay to actually see their teams, and has a higher draw and interest in the sport.
We can go watch a game at tOSU, FOR FREE, and still don't fill the place with +1,000 butts for all home games.

Would be nice to see more games, but frankly, they get more people watching a replay of a UM vs OSU football game then a live softball game. Just how it is...

If your DD and you were into Gymnastics, you'd be even more PO'd...

We're still more fortunate than a few years ago!

I can't stand the commentating on the Big 10 network. It's boring and the announcers don't know the game at all.

If you want to watch softball and don't mind who you are watching I suggest checking out ESPN3.com. They have games on all the time and they also show replays of all the games that you can watch anytime at your convenience. I do believe you have to have espn and log on through your cable/dish provider to watch. If you get the SEC network they also show those games including the replays. They even air some pro and some 18U games.

Totally agree that ESPN3 (watchespn.com) is a great choice for watching softball. I watched a bunch of games this weekend. In one of the games, I finally got to see Liberty University's amazing new softball complex. It probably is one of the top five softball stadiums in the country. Not as big as some of the SEC stadiums but beautifully designed and top notch in every way.

I believe Michigan v. Iowa is showing on Sunday afternoon. Hopefully the original schedule released will be added to like this throughout the season.
