I see it week in and week out! Bone head coaches ruining the game, and why our youth is growing up spoiled and whiners!

Generally speaking, you don't want to make the first or last out at third, but as Lenski said, that applies to baseball much better than fastpitch. I do agree that we don't want to make the first out at third, but the last out isn't so bad for the reason Lenski gave.

I believe it behooves the guys who played baseball and go on to coach fastpitch to give thought to the old bromides in baseball. A typical one, which is horrible advice x10, is to go halfway from first on balls in the air to the outfield. That's even bad advice in baseball. Usually the one-size-fits-all-situations phrases are a poor substitute for thinking about what is the best answer for a given situation.

Nobody from Doom 16u was ejected @ Heat It Up, those guy's are always on there best behavior. I am pretty sure you were watching Doom 95 game, and yes there was a tiny disagreement about a questionable call. BTW the score keeper was not ejected, anybody that knows who keeps the book for this team is probably laughing their a** off trying to picture her getting tossed.

I apologize, but it was on field #1 and the score keeper who was a guy and the asst coach did get tossed. I thought all the games that day on Field #1 was 16u.

The Ringer corrected me and said it was the 14u team.

The scorekeeper is my wife, and I am pretty sure she is not a guy. I think if she was tossed I would be aware of it.

In the future, please refrain from using a team's name. We will generally delete all team names mentioned in posts, unless it is complementary in nature. Now that being said, once a poster identifies their team as the team in question - then that's your choice.
