Buckeye Elite was founded in 2006 and currently fields highly competitive teams in almost every age group. We are based in Portsmouth Ohio and have players from about a 50 mile radius. Our mission is to attract talented, competitive, team oriented young ladies and help them grow both on and off the field.
Our 10U team (2005 birth year) will be looking for a limited number of talented players to complement a strong returning core. We will carry 12 players maximum. We will play in 1 or 2 tournaments in the fall and participate in fall scrimmages in Waverly Ohio. We will hold indoor practices throughout the winter in Portsmouth Ohio and attend hitting clinics at Championship Fast pitch in Ashland KY. We plan to play in 8 to 10 tournaments in 2016. Most will be within a 2 hour drive of Portsmouth (Columbus, Dayton, Cincinnati). Our fees will be $650.00 total. Fees will come from individual contributions, sponsors and fundraising so that each family can pay in whatever way makes sense for their situation. The players will receive a batting helmet, Boombah bat bag and 2 full custom uniforms as part of their fees. The remaining money will go toward our tournament entry fees.
