Buckeye Heat Black ‘08 will be adding 6-7 players for the 2018-19 10U season. We are looking for 2 catchers and 1-2 pitchers. The remaining players will be players that are capable of playing multiple positions including outfield. Speed is a plus.
This is a non-parent coached team. Head coach has 10 years experience coaching travel softball, assistant coaches have played travel ball for several years.
This is not a trophy hunting team. We will play to win but our schedule will consist of tournaments where the girls will be challenged every time they step on the field. It's not all about wins and losses, its about coaching each girl to better themselves, learn new skills, perfect current skills, and to learn to believe in themself. As we all know we won't see any college coaches at a 10U game; however my goal as a coach is to prepare the girls that play for me to be ready when that time comes and coaches are there.
