Field of Dreams will be offering a 90 minute bunting clinic on Saturday Jan 4th @ 10 AM for only $5. This clinic is ONLY going to cover bunting, not slapping or hitting. The clinic will be given by Field of Dreams softball hitting instructor Lauren Sanders with additional help provided by other Field of Dreams instructors. Lauren played collage ball at Slippery Rock College in Pennsylvania and was a high school coach in Central Ohio for 6 years prior to joining Field of Dreams' instruction staff.
This clinic is designed to help teach the basics of bunting to 8-12 year olds and is strongly recommended for girls who will be playing 10U this Spring. Lauren will cover the stance, body position, the grip, timing, ball vision, and controlling the power and direction of the bunt. Each participant will receive direct instruction from Lauren during this clinic. Preregistration is not required or even accepted as the clinic fee will be collected at admission. Clinic participants are welcome to stay for open hitting after the clinic so they can practice bunting in one of our 3 cages.***
***Open Hitting costs an additional $3 per person. Open hitting be from 11:30 AM until 1 PM.
Clinic participants should bring their helmet and bat. If you do not own a helmet or bat we have several available to use.
