Can you help me out?
I've been keeping stats for years but this is my first time with the College summaries. I am embarrassed to admit that i don't know everything about everything.

This is the standard stats set from most colleges that I see. This one happens to be Dennison but they are all the same.

On the player stats what does 'GDP' stand for and why is always '0'?
What does 'SF' and "SH stand for?
What does 'A' stand for?

On the Pitcher stats.
What does 'CG' mean?
SHO/CBO?
BK?
SFA?
SH?

The rest I might have but these are a mystery.
Thanks

GDP is ground into double play. It is probably always zero because those are much harder to turn in fastpitch than baseball.
SF= Sac Fly
SH= Sac Hit (i.e. Sac Bunt)
A=Assist
CG=Complete Game (by pitcher)
SHO= Shutout
BK=Balk
SFA= Sac Flies Allowed
SHA=Sac Hits Allowed

And as soon as you have all these mastered, somebody will come up with another statistic that we'll all roll our eyes and think "How did we do without that one until now?"

Since there are no balks in softball, they use this for illegal pitches that advanced a runner.

I receive an Advanced Statistics report from our SID that I mainly rely upon, as opposed to the basic stats that appear on websites. It has Runs Created, Total Average, OPS, OPS+, Predicted ERA for pitchers (based on WHIP), BABIP for hitters and pitchers and some others.
