Warren it was a great game, there was excellent pitching, timely hitting, and well played defense on both sides. The Crush did an outstanding job in jumping out to a lead in the 4th inning and made some huge defensive plays to keep us from having the big inning. I am very proud of our Wolfpack girls who have played a grand total of 9 games together, the future is bright for this team. Congrats to all of the Crush girls and coaches on a job well done.

Thank you for the kind words agoch and Warren. I can say on behalf of the Crush that there were no easy games at this tournament. Every team played extremely good softball with great sportsmanship. That win was bigger for us than anyone could really know especially to a team as good and well coached as the Wolfpack.To win at Canfield so shortly after Johns passing with a team that he started was a feeling that can't be described...... He was a terrific coach to these girls and a great person in general. He never stopped giving to the Crush , put in countless hours building the batting barn and doing anything he could to help out any girl on the team. He will be greatly missed by everyone who ever had the pleasure of meeting him. Thank you all for a great tournament.
