We have 8 solid commitments for 02 team based out of Marion County. Looking for a Starting pitcher that is consistent and can hit her spots with a good off speed pitch.
I expect them to work to improve during off season. Willing to work with a girl that has a solid foundation to build from.
1st baseman with experience a must, don't need height, it's a plus but not necessary. I need a smart player who know what to do after she catches the ball for the out at first. They need to understand the pace of the game.
Finally the utility player needs to be able to fill the gaps that we have during any game. Good athlete that is smart on the game and understands their role at every posistion. Need to be able to hit and BUNT with good speed.
We will be playing one tournament in the fall, and 6 -7 tournaments next years. Two will be out of state, with the remaining close to home.
We have an indoor facility to practice in over winter on Sundays and batting practice during week over winter.
Our staff includes a college player graduating this year from Defiance College with a sports medicine degree.
