I too read this forum with great interest wondering what is wrong with some parents. ?I don't get it? ?Parents are to guide and help thier childern ... not live thru them. ?So...
Play for a team that has fun and your daughter learns something... you will find the winning takes care of it'self.
As a coach I found I could work with any player... so I interviewed the parents. I told them how we worked and tried me best to hold up my end of the deal.
Finally don't play for a coach that doesn't show players how to take care of themselfs. ?How to handle injure and the heat, and to be honest when they are not thier best.
Coaching your daughter is tough but when she was sick or injured I always told her " Someday I may have to ask you to play sick or hurt... but today is not the day" ?Winning was never that important, ?and we won our share anyhow.
