To find the 11th player that I have been searching for since Sept. We also played 6 games in the last week and we are not where we need to be, but with hard work our goal is not unreachable. God-willing, we will find that player and be ready in May.

I resolve to find a little more patience and a little more joy and to STOP eating so much from the Snack Shack -
I also resolve to not fret so much when DD pitches - She knows what she's doing and no amount of my heart ache will change how she does what she does.
I resolve to wear a rain coat and a sun hat (In the appropriate weather and appropriate measure) and put on sunscreen - (Every time)
I resolve to Lift with my legs and take better care of my knees
I resolve to get more sleep and to get up earlier
I resolve to Drink more (fluids) on game days and less on saturday night - and complain less about the smell of the porta-pottys (and those ladys with too much cologne)
I resolve to do my best with what I have, where I am, while I can and to stop when I can't and I resolve to know when that is and not believe those who tell me it was some time ago...
I resolve to be the better person every day and decline those invitations when presented to slap the stupid out of someone even when it is well deserved.
I resolve to try to bring joy to more people even if their joy dose not bring me joy.
I resolve to try to do (at least a third of) these things to the best of my ability (for at least the next few days) and lie to my self and others less.

ENJOY THE NEW YEAR -

I have been thinking about this and decided to resolve to stop and laugh in between games, Take a seat in the grass and just take deep breaths. I will no longer ponder about the next game (and the errors in the last one), but wait for the ideas to hit me while sitting back watching this great sport and waiting for our game to start.

Unwind and enjoy the funny stuff the girls are talking about. Sing and dance with them during work outs.

I also resolve to step up their game. Work on drills that I know will be difficult. expect them to fail at them and be OK. I resolve to to use this motto "Don't practice until you get it right-practice until you can't get it wrong." This includes me working on being the best coach that these girls deserve. Always be a student of the game.

I resolve to listen more to my girls-they have great ideas. Teach them to be able to teach the game. The best way to learn is to teach.

I also resolve to call time out during a game and actually talk about the game situation instead of where we are going out to eat. I never talk about the game during the time outs. I just want them to breathe it out sometimes. Not too sure if I want to resolve that or not. We will see.
