This is our goal for 2010. My name is Casie #16 and i play shortstop for the cincy doom 95. Our pitcher Emily #10 and I are willing to share our positions in order to win ASA/USA Nationals in Moline, Illinois. We have a great team with a whole bunch of great girls that care more about winning than what position we play. We finished 33rd out of 122nd as a 13 year old team this season. We believe that we are as good as any 13 year old team in the country right now. Our team works really hard by practicing twice a week, we have great coaches and the head of our organization is the best! Emily is the best pitcher in the country at this age group but she can't do it by herself. There are very talented pitchers in ohio and we need one more to win ASA/USA next year. It doesn't matter where you live you can play for us. We are also looking for a great position player, if you also pitch, that's great!

To all the parents out there, theres not a better place for your daughter to play. She will learn, she will get better and she will have tons of fun! All the girls on this team get along great and care about one another. If you want to win a National Championship at the highest level and open doors to play college softball, then this is the team you need to play for. My brother Tyler commited to Campbell University a D1 school in North Carolina. His summer team the Cincy Flames, every player on the team is being recruited by a D1 school. That's why it's important for our team to be as strong as we possibly can.

You can go to the doom website at www.cincydoom.net to talk to the coaches but if you want to talk to me just pm me and i will get back to you.

Casie,

I don't know you personally, but I "know of you" from some of our former Laser friends that you played with at earlier ages in the past.

Gotta say, I am impressed with your mission and commitment, confidence, and assertiveness. Congratulations on your successes last year, and good luck with your future goals, hope you reach them! Have always heard great things about the Doom.

Good luck in your quest!

Gotta love that heart, passion and determination from a young player like that! We know most of the girls from your Doom `95 team and of course the coaching staff. If anybody has a chance from Ohio of pulling it off, it would be this team!

Great team, coaches and parents. My daughter subbed for this team at GAPSS this summer (where they won the championship) as catcher but due to team need played center and right field mostly. I shared with them before that it was an amazing experience. The girls are supportive of each other, they respect an listen to their coaches and I never saw any parental issues with the coaching decisions. These girls just know the game, play it right and play it well.

My daughter will be trying out with the rest of you, but as a sports parent this is one of those teams that ya gotta root for that they find what they need to get them to their goal and show what Ohio can do. Good Luck Doom and great post Casie!!!:)

Casie, I would love to have 9 of you with that attitude on my team, there would be no doubt that we would be the best. I wish you and your team the best of luck in the future. Coach Doug has to be proud to have players like you and this is the reason why we love coaching ya. Best of luck!!!!!!!

Wow Casie. With my daughter coming up through the ranks being a pitcher for the Doom 97, what a great girl for her to look up too! Your post is awesome and the Doom Organization is always a class act no matter what age group your playing for.

Yea guy's, I am extremely proud of Casie for starting this thread. She is a very special kid, who is driven to improve her game every time she steps on the field. Those of you that know her understand what I am talking about.

Thanks for all the great comments but all the girls on Doom 95' are like that. This thread is about finding the right player or players and to challenge them to be the best. Our whole season next year is about preparing to win a ASA/USA 14u national championship! To be the best player you can be you have to play against the best and the best play at ASA nationals.

In Montgomery Alabama 2008 12u ASA nationals i let the 12u stingrays down. i had the experience from playing with lasers silver when i was 9 at ASA nationals. My team needed me to play like a champion but instead i let all the girls down by not making plays against San Jose Sting that i should've made. We lost that game but it motivated me the entire year to get back to nationals with the Doom and play the way i know i can. Our schedule will prepare us to win nationals next year. We have the experience, and the talent we just need a couple of players that have the same goals that we have.

We're not afraid to fail because if we do we'll come right back at you in the next game. COME PLAY WITH US! Emily and i will have your back the whole time:) Can't wait to hear from you!
