Cocoa Beach HS spring trip

Anyone have experience with Cocoa Expo Sports Center?

How well do they match your team against equal competition in the games? How many games/practices did you do? Did you like the facility?

Our HS has been there for several years and I have been told that they have let the place run down.They are going to FT WALTON this year.

Our school goes there every spring. The level of competition for softball is usually very good. We have at least 5 games and practice every day (sometimes 2 or 3 a days). The Expo is not very fancy but the kids have a great time. They get a beach day one afternoon. One problem is when it rains.
Last year we lost a game to field conditions. They didn't seem to try very hard to get the field in shape. (Being from Ohio we know with a little hard work & lots of stay dry it can be done!)
But all in all it sure beats trying to prepare for your season in OHIO.

Our school will never return there until the place is updated, cleaned up, and the competition improves. And the nearby hotels are so disgusting that it looks like murders were taken place there and never cleaned up. There are too many other opportunities out there then to waste your money at this place.

Kids spend a lot of money on these trips. We spent half the time killing cockroaches who had set up shop in most of the rooms......now......thats all. The rest of the info will only be attainable by reading my book, available at most book stores ;D ;D

you forgot to mention the lack of clean bed linens and terrible shower conditions.
