College Recruiting

Just wondering if anyone has used NCSA ( National Collegiate Scouting Assoc) for their DD's college recruiting. This is a company that charges a fee to assist parents and their DD's with the recruiting process.

Check this web site out first. Cathi Aradi has produced what is pretty much "The Bible" of college softball recruiting for years. You can order it off of her website at the link below. We used her book, did all the work ourselves, made our own skills video, sent out all the letters, etc. When you want something as important as recruiting to go your way - DO IT YOURSELF! My DD is starting her 3rd year on scholarship, and I attribute a lot of her getting her scholarship to following the advice in Cathi's book. Believe me - EVERYTHING you'd want to know about the whole recruiting process is in that book!

sent you a PM. Don't waste your money on a third party doing it...

The first thing you need to ask is if you are willing to pay for something you and your daughter can do yourself. If you do not want to put the effort it takes to contact the coaches on a regular basis, then a service would probably be worth the money.
