Congratulations to Cincy Doom 16U Gold (Gregory) on their ASA Gold National Ranking! At 14, they were the highest ranked 16U Gold team in Ohio! Well deserved!!

I see that Ohio Hawks (3-2) & Outlaws Premier (2-2) tied for 13th &
Doom (0-2) tied for 25th at the ASA Gold Nationals last month in Florida
While Hawks-Hutchinson (2-2) tied for 17th in 18U......

It's on ASA Site. Yea Tim's team dealt with difficult circumstances at Gold Nationals this year. Id assume it's a calculation of their Asa record. They finished 3rd at Dayton Metro & 2nd at the Gold Qualifier in Cincy. That's a very talented team that had four D1 commits on it. Tim is the best damn coach I've been around & his girls work their butts off. Congrats to Tim, Chris, Brian, Jim & all the girls that were on Doom Gold 16u this past summer.

Is this the same Power Ranking software that when I click that link and trigger the 16A PR's it tells me Ohio Stingrays Y2K is the best team in the country? How'd they do at nationals?

There's no claim that the "Power Rankings" denote who the best team in the country is. It's just a listing of who has the most points under that particular formula. Not the same thing. Just like when your team gets points for winning tournaments from the different sanctions. Generally the top teams in those aren't the best teams, just the ones who play the most and only play in one sanction.

The OP mentioned ranking so I assumed it meant national ranking or appearing to be the claim

I found the rankings to be hard to decipher what was what . regardless Doom-Gregory is top of line IMO.
