I know this season is looking brighter, there is several girls playing in this league from the Ohio Wave, DC Lightning, Dayton Yellow Jackets and OFC Heat (orange), that?s just the travel teams I know of. Below is last year standings and I believe anyone from the top six could shine this year.

My DD pitches for Tri-Village, they will have the tools to go deep this year if they can put it all together.

I had to go back a ways to find this post, but below is the results of this years (2008) league and all conference selections. I was right in stating that Tri-Village had the tools to go far this year, they won the league and lost to Triad in the district finals 1-0. Ansonia finished rank 2nd in the state and lost to Traid 7-3 in the first round of regionals. Newton lost to Parkway 5-0 in the first round of regionals.

CCC earned some respect with that showing.

The only sad news was the player of the year could not be put up for any district or state awards since
the school had no one who was a member of the OHSFSCA.

I guess no one would of thought that there is kids out there that work at the game they love 52 weeks a year and they might just be an impact player POY was.

15-2 with a losses to Ansonia and Triad, ERA 0.46, IP 123, SO 221,
