There are a limited number of spots left for the clinic. Getting a chance to work with these three instructors in one weekend is a great opportunity.

We are working on getting Liz Young down also to do some catching. Will post here as we get details.

Liz will be available on Thursday Oct 7th for a catchers mini-clinic: 2 hour session with up to 10 players. Cost for the session is $75.00 per player.

This sounds like a great clinic. Unfortunately our team is traveling the opposite direction from Cincy for the Best of the Best fall tourney. Otherwise I would definitely be recommending this clinic to our players.

From what I heard, there are only a few spots remaining - don't miss out - local & a very reasonable price to learn from the best on Friday / Saturday / Sunday!!!

That is true, only a couple spots left. Keeping the head count to a minimum to get quality training in.

Have had a couple questions in regard to the clinic:

We will have drinks and snacks available for purchase but we are not able to provide lunch. There are plenty places within a mile or two (at Tri-County Mall) to choose from for lunch.

For those who do not want to stay during the clinic you can drop your daughter off and pick them up after the clinic is over. Each parent has to sign a release and with that realize we are not responsible for injury.

As long as the instructors are able to work and the players have room at their stations parents are able to walk around while the clinic is being conducted and watch what the players are working on.

If there are any other questions just post or email and we will do our best to get an answer for you.

So what's the actual clinic schedule (daughter is going on Sunday)? Is there a built in lunch break? Or does that one go straight through?

In order to allow players and families time to attend church in the morning we decided to go with the 11-4 time slot without an actual lunch break. We take time for the girls to have a break and get a snack and drink a couple times.

Have to tip my hat to our instructors, helpers, families, and freinds from all over Ohio and the US. Thanks to Crystl and Howard.

Have to say we had folks from the Ice, Marion Merchants, Slammers, Goshen, Static and many others. Toooo many to mention. Must have been 60+ there in a "controlled" head count clinic to keep the quality high we are really happy! Thanks to "ifubuildit", Cshilt, Crush1 and all the instructors that traveled down to help!

Again, thanks to all. Tomorrow will be very good. Having Micaela work her drills and motivate the girls will be fun to watch and be apart of. The girls really related to the "pro's" in a very positive way!

Thanks for letting me be a part of your clinic. I never fail to pick up something new from Crystl and Howard. I had a great group of girls from the 11U Marion Merchants who drove over 2 1/2 hours to learn. If any of you have any follow-up questions feel free to send me a message and I'll be happy to help.

Absolutely outstanding effort today by all the players. They stayed focused & really worked their tails off. I must say, this clinic had more "first timers" than any clinic I have been involved. Also, I never seen as many parents as today writing in notebooks, filming, etc. Great day & a big thanks to Howard & Crystl!!!

Looking forward to Liz Young joining us at the clinic today from 11-4. Saturday was a lot of fun....looking forward to the session today. Still have room for a few players for the fielding session. Don't miss an opportunity to work with three of the 2010 NPF Akron Racers!

had a surprise in Liz showing up! 3 Pro players in one facility doing the instruction was really good. Thanks to them all and Marcia and Kayla for putting this event together. The purpose of this event was to keep it small enough for us to manage with quality instead of jacking entry numbers up and she did that really well. Quality is the key and boy did those women bring it!!! Howard, as always, you did your thang and we appreciate it and of course it was top notch!!!! Hope you are feeling better. You give your all even when your nose is running so fast you can't eat it all...

Thanks to Lester, Kavin and the rest of the Static crew for such a great clinic! The smaller format made for a great opportunity of more individual instruction to each girl. Our girls had an absolute blast this weekend and learned so much from Crystl, Howard, Micaela and Liz, what a great bunch of instructors! Even though they went to the Dent haunted schoolhouse Sat. night and stayed up a little late, they were wide awake at breakfast Sunday morning already excited about getting back to the clinic.
An extra thanks to cshilt and ifubuildit for helping my girls out at your stations, you guys did a great job taking the extra time with them, making sure they fully understood everything along the way.
Besides all the great instuction and drills, it was a good team bonding weekend for our girls.
Thanks again and we look forward to the next one!

Want to thank everyone for all the hard work this past weekend! If not for the coaches who help with all the behind the scenes work (taking time to work the clinic, helping to get the equipment, hauling in coolers and ice) these weekends would never happen.

Kyle, thank you for coming to help out. It will be great having you as a regualr instructor when you schedule permits.

cshlit-I know Howard usually gets you to help out and we always appreciate it!

ifubuildit-Thank you for taking time out of your family vist to help out. And now you have a picture of you and Crystl and Howard to take back home for proof! lol

The Static did a great job helping organize everything and did a great job with the players at the stations. You all did a lot of work before during and after the clinic and it is appreciated.

Kayla-glad you finally got a chance to see just what it takes to put one of these together. You and Alicia did a great job getting things ready for the weekend. Now I know where to look when I need help. I may not have any sports skills but at least I can text, talk and type!

And Montanna....where would Tonic (Crystl's Great Dane/ Mastiff mix) be without you and your new "cool best friend" Polly (funsister). You did a great job taking care of her for Crystl.

Howard, Crystl, Micaela and Liz-what a great group to work with! To find so many great instructors who are also great people to work with. I don't think we could ever find players who care so much for the players and are really into it for them.

To the Bolands-thank you for allowing us to share in Jessicas birthday! You are all at the beginnig of a great time that goes by all too quickly. Glad she enjoyed her dinner and we were able to help make her evening fun.

And of course, even though she couldn't be there this weekend I have to say a HUGE thank-you to Mary Ellen Bonner. Even when not at the clinic she does a lot to help in the organization and prep for the event. I can never thank her enough for all the help, insight, suggestions and patience she always shares with me. If she ever decided to start a business helping groups, teams or businesses get organized she could make a fortune!

It was great to see so many new young players there this weekeend. Hopefully we can do this again next year.
