Dayton, Ohio Women's Competitive Fastpitch League

Is anyone interested in playing in a competitive women's fastpitch softball league? We need at least six teams for this league. The site of games is undetermined possibly Tipp City or Vandalia area. We want to determine the level of interest from the softball community to set the process in motion. We want to start the league in the fall and run for six to eight weeks. Unfortunately after college there are not many opportunities for women who love softball to continue their career aside from the pro league and some tournaments. I am super excited to get this started and welcome all women over the age of 18. If you love to play and want to see this get started in the Dayton area please contact me! League fees and teams are not yet determined so I do not have that info. Please indicate what nights work for you to play games. Please don't hesitate to contact Erin!! Also if you would be interested in getting your own team together let me know that too. If you know of a better site to post this so it gets more exposure could you pass that on.

I would absolutely love to play, but Dayton is a bit far for me to drive during the week. If you could get something going a little bit closer to Springfield, I may be able to find enough to get a team. Keep us updated on what's going on.

Might be a good idea to post this at the slow pitch , fastpitch parks and tourneys. I know several locals and will let them know. Any thoughts of posting this on Craigs List?

Good to see someone doing this. Dayton has had competitive fastpitch for Men for years. Lester is right, we need to spread this to the slow pitch leagues and they will come in droves.

No, I'm outside of Cable (near North Lewisburg). I was just saying that Springfield would be an easier drive for me and my fastpitch buddies. Dayton is too far to go for one game.
