The Diamond Dogs will be holding tryouts for our 12, 14, and 16u teams this year. They will be on Sunday August 23 from 3-5 for all age groups at Woodridge Intermediate School in Peninsula Ohio. 1930 Bronson St. 44264.
We have already had a couple tryouts and this will be our third one. We are looking for a couple pitchers and position players for all age groups. Our rosters are not set so there are spots. So come out and join an established organization that has been around for years.

16u are being coached by Emily Scupholm. Coach Emily is currently a Junior playing for Bluffton University. This will be her second year coaching for the Diamond Dogs. 14u will be Coached by Danielle Schneider. Coach Danielle has coached our 18 and 16's in the past and has now come back to coach our 14 and under. She played at the university of Toledo for 2 years and was an All Ohio second team catcher when she played at Woodridge High School. She will be assisted by Heather Schneider who coached the 10 and under for us and was an All Ohio honorable mention at catcher while also playing for Woodridge. 12u are being coached by John Schneider. Coach John has coached at Woodridge High for the last 17 years and has been coaching travel ball for the past 14 years. He will be assisted by Leslie Hafler who played high school for Waterloo and played at Lourdes University. You can contact Coach John at joschneid6@aol.com or 330-592-1258.
We do use the high school for indoor workouts during the winter, working on the fundamentals of fielding and hitting to get us ready for the summer tournaments.
