USSSA Tournament "diamond in the rough - weekend 1 college scimmages & showcase sept 24-26

The 1st Annual DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH - WEEKEND 1 is scheduled to be played Friday, September 24th - Sunday September 26th in Vienna/Parkersburg, West Virginia. Fields to be used are: Vienna Parks and Recreation Fields in Vienna, West Virginia and Godbey Park in Parkersburg, West Virginia.

This is a USSSA sanctioned event for the travel teams.

Friday play is for colleges only beginning at 6 pm. Two rounds will be played by college teams. Two umpires will be supplied by the Tournament.

Colleges Please note: 6 teams will play Friday and Saturday only and 12 teams will play Saturday and Sunday only. All college teams will get a total of 5 games.

College entry fees: $30.00 per game plus a ball.

Travel teams entry fee is: $350.00 for three full games. Maximum Time allowed: 1:40 . Teams can play both days if they wish.

No GOLD teams are allowed in this event.

This event has been given the blessing of Akron Racers President/GM Joey Arrietta as she will be attending this event. The other National Pro Fastpitch Presidents/GM have been invited to attend this event.

Saturday and Sunday will be a daily gate charge of $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for 18 and under, Free for kids 5 and under for this event. Friday events are $5.00 gate charge for everyone over 5 years of age.
