dawgpound19 ? I apologize if I misunderstood. I just wanted you to know I have the highest respect for both Julie and Kirk and also the Ohio Ice Organization. I really am sorry! If the tryout was bad and the shoe fits, wear it and if the coach did the best she could and someone has an opinion, so be it! We are or should I say most of us are in this for our girls!!!!!!!! We need to stick together!!! No one said we are here for a popularity contest.

No need to apologize power... it's all good, sorry if my first post came off in the wrong way. :) I'm one of the most drama free people you'll ever meet I just go with the flow and enjoy watching my daughters play this great game.

It was all downhill before it even started. The hall was full of players and parents 20-30 minutes early as requested to sign in and the coaches not showing till almost 6!! With the last minute coaching change probably would of been a good idea to postpone this tryout, OR better yet, NOT make a last minute coaching change!!!!

As the rest of you said, BIG DISAPPOINTMENT......... oranizations like that should have it down by now. They should be prepared or plan for an expectation of a larger group of girls wanting to try out with them. It is certainly not like they are not use to this by now. Doesn't look good for their reputation or organization tryouts when they get run this poorly.

Every tryout I've ever been associated with the coaches were there a good 45-60 minutes before it started to get set up, as was a volunteer to make sure everyone got registered.

Exactly. I know that I along with other Wolfpack coaches will be at our tryouts this weekend by 7:30am to set up at Massillon Eagles 190 field on the corner of Harsh & 20th st behind Paul Brown Tiger Stadium form the 10u & 12u tryouts (10u 1-3pm , 11u 11-1pm & 12u 9-11am). Everyone from the entire organization that is available will be at the tryouts to help.

Since I posted about a negative tryout experience, I would like to give a shout out to some 14u teams that really had their act together on running their tryout!! Wolfpack, Emeralds, and Bombers all had very well run tryouts!! Great job keeping things organized and giving all the girls a good workout and opportunity to show you what they can do!! Everyone had an equal chance to prove themselves in front of these coaches!! Totally worth the time spent at these tryouts!!

Did the Lasers have a good tryout?
(everytime I mention the word "lasers" I get 10 T-Downs)
