leesburg Fairfield looked pretty sharp to me. smart pitcher with a good drop and changes speeds well. Not in our bracket so I didn't watch real close . I think in the more recent polls we (portsmouth Notre Dame ) are ranked somewhere in there . We play Strasburg franklin on Wed. MD

Fairfield shut out Newark Cath 1-0 yesterday ..... told you that pitcher was tough!

Today's regional final features two teams that have given up a TOTAL of 3 runs in their combined 8 games. ALL by Strasburg , Fairfield has yet to give up a run in it's 4 games. MD

Felicity Franklin also has a dominant ace in Montana Wear of Cincy Doom fame. She also has only given up 1 run heading into todays D-4 Regional final. Good luck to Montana and Coach Wear.

Sorry MD, wish I could. My dd plays for Columbiana. I only know because I looked at the brackets. Wish I had some info to go on for any of these teams. But we have never been this far before and all I have to go on is what people post on here.

you make it to the finals and see strasburg PM me , I'll share what i can. Heck all i can say is go the plate swinging. Girl works ahead on pitch 1 then nibbles nibbles nibbles and she's very very good at it. It took us til the 4th or 2nd time thru to realize we could not afford to be picky, she was too good for taking a strike . MD
